US Architects, in coordination with Garmong Construction, was commissioned by the Muncie Economic Development Commission to provide a 40,000 SF warehouse building which could accommodate future manufacturing facilities in the area. To improve upon marketability, the project guidelines were to design a facility which could be expandable up to 120,000 SF, maintain 32’ of clear roof height for most manufacturing needs, and provide a plan for future office space and the phasing of future expansion. Loading docks, utilities and services, parking, and truck clearances were also designed to accommodate future expansion.
